In the July/August issue: the items were women’s shoe shapers, stretchers, keepers, irons, trees—we got all those terms! Winner Susan remembers her aunt having a blue pair of shoe trees she used with her dress heels. “My mother used them in her shoes when I was a little boy,” recalls J.E. Brown, Yadkinville and Jessie Gere of Pilot Mountain still has a pair!
